Karter Stonecutter is a citizen of the United States. He hails from Chicago, IL, although recently he has taken residence in Little Rock, AR.Karter is a long-time keyboardist/performer who's background includes many classic rock touring bands. A self-taught musician, Karter plays by ear and has paved his successful professional path with no formal training. His travels have placed him on stage with Michael McDonald, The Temptations, Cheap Trick, Heart, Jackson Browne, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Jefferson Starship, Air Supply, The Tubes and Frankie Goes To Hollywood. He has recently finished up a 4 month contract playing on a cruise ship out of Australia. His wide range of professional experience enables him to perform most any genre of music...Rock, Blues, Country, Standards, Pop and Jazz, to name a few.

Karter joined the US Navy out of high school and spent most of his time in Florida, where he teamed up with some fellow sailors and started working gigs at the chief's club and special events. Out of the Navy, he went right into the piano bar circuit for a few years before realizing his heart was in Rock 'N Roll. Now he spends his time touring North America working large rock clubs and festivals, living a rather modest musician's life on a definitely modest musician's salary!

His diverse musical background provides for a unique performance. His piano bar days give him the experience to engage his audience and it's always evident in his performances. But don't let that fool you. Karter can rock with the best! He can adapt to most any styles and venues, which has given him longevity and popularity in the musician communities around the United States.

Whether it be indulging his audience in sweet romantic ballads, old standards or rockin' the house, a good time, a solid performance and some fun lasting memories are what you can expect when you come to see Karter Stonecutter.

Avatar Quinzet (RL Quintin Stephens) got an early start on dulcimer at the age of eight and has played and given workshops on the instrument for more than 34 years. Along the way, he also got sideswiped by a rogue dobro guitar. Starting off playing Carter Family-style, he was seduced by the dark side and discovered Blues/Rock and Delta Slide Blues music. Bringing many of the techniques and tricks over from guitar to the dulcimer, Avatar is especially recognized for his double-stop and two-handed-tapping techniques. He has no qualms about freely adapting styles to create the music he hears in his head.

From traditional folks songs of early America to smokin' hot originals, Avatar delivers all on his dulcimer with his distinctly "back-beat" feel that gets everyone up and moving! Or, with his blues music covering such greats as Robert Johnson, Blind Willie Jefferson, Josh White and John Lee Hooker, to modern blues musicians like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Avatar delivers all with his trusty acoustics by his side like a good pair of Colts. With over 20 years as a professional gigging musician and recording artist based in Los Angeles, Zak Claxton is an entertaining and exciting singer/songwriter performing in Second Life. Using his acoustic guitar, voice, and the occasional harmonica, Zak brings high energy to his original music, as well as occasional covers by artists ranging from the '60s to the '00s. His influences include Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, David Bowie, the Who, the Beatles, and many more.

Dan Lange was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he first started playing and singing blues in the clubs and on the streets - notably in area blues legend Shakey Lyman's band "The Boogiemen" and in the still together "Hired Guns Blues Band".
IN the 1990's Dan moved to London, England, where he was a familiar presence on the area Blues scene, and a busker at Camden Lock, Covent Garden and various other pitches around town.
By the early 21st Century, Dan Lange had relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area, where in addition to club work and busking, he recorded 2 CD's, "Please and Thank You" and "Streetwise".
Today Dan Lange lives in Portland, Oregon, where he plays Farmers Markets in the warm weather and broadcasts his shows on Second Life from a Whisper Room sound isolation enclosure at his residence at the old saddle warehouse.

Harry is from midwest America. He studied music and has been performing in RL since he was a little boy in a diaper and cowboy boots. His singing styles range from anything from country to jazz to 80s power ballads. Harry is also plays bari sax, ( though not on SL) and was in a jazz band playing anything from the sounds of Glenn Miller to the Jazz of Charlie Parker, Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington, so his range of music is quite varied.

In his singing you will find an influence from voices of George Strait, Brad Paisley, Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble. You will certainly enjoy the listen.

New to the Second Life music scene, Skye Galaxy brings a fresh sound to the table.

Taking a variety of different songs and artists, 'Sasha' translates each tune and places them gently beside a soothing, sensual line of vocal and simplistic piano arrangements. Twenty years ago, he was brought into this world by his mother, of whom resided in Smolensk ( Смоленск ), Russia and a father whom moved to the states from Berlin. From the first moments of which he could mutter a sound, singing had become nothing short of a passion.

His influences include the vocals and production talents of Imogen Heap, the emotion often found in the likes of Coldplay, Keane and Death Cab for Cutie, and in the other artists that continue to fill his favorites list; Above & Beyond, Frou Frou, Rufus Wainwright, Kate Havnevik, Yann Tiersen, and many more.

Skye is a musician, performer and vocalist professionally in his first life, but likes to keep his two lives well apart. He joined Second Life in order to pursue the feeling of growth in his abilities, once more, and those numerous chain of events leading to one better opportunity to the next until you are stumbling for the top.

Somerset Oh & Rhode - SOAR

Somerset, Oh & Rhode are three real life friends from NSW Australia who started writing songs and creating music together many years ago. In SL, the trio plays their original material in an acoustic style. Their songs are simple, thoughtful and sincere, the melodies enhancing the lyric stories they tell of feelings, people and places that have had meaning to each of them. Due to the distance that separates them in RL, currently Bright performs live over the stream and SOAR utilizes their skills in arrangment and production to produce their own multi-layered pre-recorded tracks to enhance the presentation of their original music.
When someone hears a vocal fade and Bright speaks over the stream, it is an example of a layered harmony track , and not the lead vocal .
SOAR is now bringing their rl music into SL, subsequent to the wonderful response to their song "Too Many Tears" a song about the recent Australian bushfires, and which was performed at the Angel Dorei bushfire appeal benefit concert and on SL Live with Paisley Beebe.

Italian Mood will host the debut in Second Life of DJN Project, a duo located in NYC composed by Rick "Galactik" Wilkinson and Ruben "Swift" Vidal.

In 2005 they met through mutual friend Doug Brown, who was the assistant to music mogul Johnny Wright at the time.

Rick G, then based in Orlando, decided to move to New York where the songwriting industry was booming.

Swift's love for house started at Club Shelter, where he recalls experiencing the beautiful people and the great sound of soulful house.
At the same time Swift worked with Jay-Z, DJ Green Lantern, Eminem, Busta Rhymes and many other artists with engineering, assisting and marketing.

Doug set up a meeting with Rick G and Swift. After meeting, they soon after created DJN Project. Both were into making r&b music at the time, but both were also busy and had no time to make music.

2006 - 2007, Rick G and Swift traded song ideas back and forth most of the year, while Swift was on the road with Justin Timberlake, Fergie and RBD as a Hype Man. When Swift arrived home from his journey, DJN Project was able to get together and record all of thier music.
DJN Project made their first house album in November 2007 entitled "Everlasting". At the start, Rick G nor Swift knew any DJ's or ANYBODY in the dance genre. Swift was in hip-hop, and Rick G was in r&b.

"Feel For You" was released in March 2008.

Because of the noise that "Feel For You" was making, DJN Project was invited to perform the single live at Winter Music Conference 2008. After WMC 2008, the DJN Project was set to roll with collaborations locked down with Kenny Bobien, Arnold Jarvis, and Louie Vega.

DJN Project has alot in store for dance music. We're introducing a new genre of house called HIP HOP HOUSE with the help of Busta Rhymes, Paul Wall, Juelz Santana, and others. This will take dance to a new plateau, where our kids can enjoy life music without drama.

This is DJN Project so far.But Rick G and Swift decided to do a promotional tour in Second Life too, both of them are convinced that the virtual platform has a great potential in order to give a worldwide visibility. Furthermore planning a tour in Second Life is really easy and cheap.
Today @:::Italian Mood::: they will perform all their new tunes but the show will give to them the chance to talk about their musical project and their experiences inworld as well as in Real Life.The audience will ve allowed to poose some questions too through voice or chat.Definitely a show not to be missed!

Chester Pine was founded by two guys outside of Philadelphia in early 1995. Over the years many new players came and went and the band went through many names. They relocated to Seattle and after two years the two boys from Philly had to go their separate ways. For six years Chester Pine has been dormant, but now Sean Lerner has resurrected the music and the style of Chester Pine. Sometimes accompanied by Buttercup Andel you can hear a variety of both original music and cover songs spanning the decades from the sixtes through the ninties. Mar started singing in RL before talking, and both she likes doing a lot ;-)

She thought it would be nice to share the gift of her voice with special friends in her second life, as voice hadn't appeared yet. So she started recording songs and sent them to her friends, and from that time got hunted by them to sing in Second Life.

When she sent in some recorded songs to be played at The Not Too Hot at a "Stars Revealed" event, she was asked to make her live debut in SL at the Not Too Hot. Which she did in Feb 2008, after being helped with the techies, which she isn't too good at;-)

Now she is a regular artist in the Not Too Hot, and sang at many other places in SL, including Bogart's Jazz, Woodstock, The Peace Park, the Palace Ballroom and many others, having had over 80 performances since. People keep asking her back. Her music is soulful and emoting, she sings jazz, songs from musicals, ballads and a bit of funk and blues.

Brought by a cousin, as soon as she got in SL, watched a live show , and was delighted, because in RL, Khiron is a brasilian singer, who has started her career in the middle of 80's, working as crooner, singing in celebrations, balls, and festivities. Travelled to Japan and Greece in the 90's.
So, for this big love that feels about singing, and for being in love with this Second Life, she worked hard to find a way of performe virtually too.

Her style is Romantic 70's & 80's, Classic Rock (Queen, Kansas, Renaissance, Yes, Genesis), Discotheque (Abba, Donna Summer, Dianna Ross, etc.) and jazz.
Her debut was at Rock n Roll Café, and since there, is performing in different nationalities venues.

ooZz is a Dutch musician, who started his musical career at the age of six. Playing the recorder first, which was replaced by the piano a year later. First band was formed at highschool and ever since JooZz is deeply in love with Music.
In 1982 he entered the Rotterdam Conservatory, but family business needed him badly. Now, a few years later, it's Music Time again. Time for a second career...and hey, a Second Life as well !

I play mainly keyboard to create electronic music, I also play piano and do some remixing as well . I try to incorporate many world music styles to create what has been descibed as "amazing, a musical journey to take listeners to another plane of reality".
I was a classically trained pianist from the age of eight, and also played guitar for a time, but later I was inspired by Jon Lord of Deep Purple to play in a totally different style. Since then I have written in many styles, and am still doing so today.And i like to improvise so no concert is the same .

Leighlee Trafalgar is a Native of West Palm Beach, FL USA ; who grew up in a family who loves films and musical classics. As a result she has been singing ever since she was a child. Gregg Huet has been a musician most of his life and has played just about every genre you can think of. Born near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the 60's it was clearly natural for a young guitarist to cover famous local bands. Probably the most prominent band to influence Gregg's style is the infamous Rock Band, Boston.
His Second Life setlist includes classic rock hits as well as some alternative rock hits. Easy listening, power ballads and love songs can all be heard at Gregg's concerts all over SL. His crystal clear voice has been described as an honest, sincere voice that captures an audience.

After several years of singing in local choirs and trios, songstress AM Moonites, arrived in second life bringing her passion and musical talent to share the residents of this metaverse. When asked why she came into SL, she replied, “I joined SL after my real life husband joined. He was having too much fun! He began singing and telling me about the great musicians here and I wanted to see and hear them, so I joined to listen to the live music and to meet new friends. The first show that I played in SL was at Starbrooks Cafe. I got a lot of really good responses and it inspired me to do it again and again and again.”
Early in her career, her performances of mostly pop or folk covers entertained many SL audiences. But recently and in collaboration with her spouse and an SL Musician in his own right, she is becoming known now for performing originals written for her by him or ones she has written for herself. Ms Moonites, who is a singer and teacher in her first life, once sang in a trio that won “First” place in a state literary contest. She has enjoyed tremendously appearing and performing in SL because it gives her the opportunity to share her talent with so many others in this virtual global environment of second life.
When asked about her style of music and her favorite songs, she replied. “I like pop and folk music. I don’t really have a favorite song ... I love all music really.” She then added, “I am currently working on some originals to create an EP to sell or full length album and my goal is to reach as many people with my music and singing as I can ... and create more original music.”

HammerFla has only been in SL for a short time now but has been making a big impact with his fabulous singing voice. He started off his singing career as a teen with a band called "The Coming Generation" then continued on as a solo guitarist and vocalist at night clubs, private parties, boardwalks, beaches and the net. Remy Farman started singing 20 years ago quite by accident. He went out one evening to a pub quiz, but luckily for him it got cancelled. Looking around for something else to do, he found a karaoke bar and decided to give it a look. He has been hooked on singing ever since.

Liz Solo is a performance artist and musician. She lives and works in St. John's Newfoundland, Canada. Liz 's inter-disciplinary practice combines a strong performative presence with installation, virtual reality and sound. She is most concerned with investigating humanity's tenuous connection to the natural world and her own personal relationship to nature.

Themes in her early work concerned questions of isolation, alienation and identity. Her more recent work has focused on themes involving art and nature, post-humanism, inter-dependency of earth systems, the sanctification of technological systems and the notion of anthropological memory. She is comfortable working in different mediums - theatre, music, film and video, recording - and often merges them all together, as in her Trilogy of Performance Epics The Alienation of Lizzie Dyke (1994), Nature(human) in 1998 and The Museum of the Mind in 2002.

Liz has performed and been presented in theatres, concert halls, galleries, bars, thrift stores, basements, cafes and other alternative spaces throughout Canada, the US and Europe. His music falls within the broad category of comtemporary acoustic or indie music. Some songs are peppered with a few jazz chords, others owe a debt to classical influences, and some are just variations on the 12 bar blues format. In a nutshell, his style is eclectic.
He is particularly interested in writing and singing about the mundane things that surround us and happen to us in everyday life, subjecting them to novel interpretations and, sometimes, doing that with a humourous touch.

The Bastard daughter of a gypsy piano tuner, Sen's life was steeped in music from the moment she drew breath, her father's tastes strictly classical, while her mother influenced her with a colorful pallet of jazz, rock, blues, folk, and assorted cultural and ethnic sounds. At the tender age of 5 she was given a tiny classical guitar, and a few lessons, which she enjoyed, but the gypsy lifestyle made it impossible to maintain. With her father's work, there were pianos in her world almost constantly, and she learned their construction and how to repair their complex inner workings, from filing hammers to replacing fragile bridal tapes, she never quite took to the instrument, her mother's wilder infulences drawing her steadily even then to the guitar. At 12, she was given her first electric, along with a small amplifier, and a few more lessons, which she readily devoured, but it wasn't until a few years later, when a friend of the family gave her his cherished steel string folk guitar, that she really began to find her own way, almost instantly taking to the streets of Seattle as a busker, where she found a whole lifestyle, and a place she truly felt was home.
In 2005, returning from performing at a medieval fair in British Columbia, She and her companion were devastated by a spontaneous car fire, and all of her instruments were lost. Although an outpouring of generous help from friends and community allowed her to "replace" her instruments, the wounds ran deep, and Senjata's will to play was nearly crushed. It wasn't until she stumbled upon another talented acoustic musician here in Second life in the fall of 2008 that the fog of her grief finally left her, and she took to the strings once again. Her love for the SL live music community runs very deep, in both worlds.

A tribute to Nicolò Paganini in his second life
This show is a tribute to one of the greatest Violinists of all time. Paganini was born in Genoa Italy in 1782, and died in Nice France in 1840. He was so virtuous and had such a diabolic skill and speed on playing that people used to say he had a pact with the devil, his "dark" and ghostly appearance also helped that rumour. Other times he played so dramatically the gently melodies that audiences often burst in tears.
The Paganini Diavolo Show consists in some of his famous 24 Caprices for solo violin with theatrical content and special effects.The audio on this show was pre-recorded by some of the best Violinists of our time.

As a singer and musician I have played in bands from Maryland to California; the instruments I can play are drums, bass, and guitar. On second life I sing to backtracks.
I have had the opportunity to do some demo work for a company in Nashville. I have performed live in Nashville Tennessee at Tootsie’s Lounge and Wildhorse Saloon.

The duo Bill and Pam Havercamp perform acoustic classic rock. Their music is heard regularly in Second Life, and they are affectionatly know as SL's Sonny and Cher. A mixture of Oldies and Country complete with playful bantering between the husband and wife team. They perform a wide range of cover songs from the 50's 60's 70's and beyond, including the Beatles, Eagles, Stevie Nicks, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springstein, Dire Straits and more with a few country song and originals sprinkled in.

A relative newcomer, REALLYMAD was dragged into Second Life kicking and screaming by friends who reckoned he should get up and have a go at singing. So he did!
Although not a professional by any stretch of the imagination ("I sing in three places: in the car, in the bath and in here!") he managed to rub shoulders with enough quality singers to blag his way to an inaugural spot in Veez night club, which set a few tongues wagging and eventually led to his first real 'gig' very recently at Jades Jazz Island.
Heartfelt thanks go to old and dear friends Renee, ZDiva and Veronica, and also to new friends Laz, Jade, Terri, Jose, CTM and Bricky for all their help and support. Because of them I now have to WORK for a living!

Peregrine Singh also known as Michael Morgan in RL grew up in a series of homogenous suburbs in the western united states. A trumpet student as a child he switched to guitar after hearing Carlos Santana and John McLaughlin. Citing influences as diverse as Mbuti Pygme songs and the composing of György Ligeti, Peregrines music has become a world all it's own. Peregrine plays guitars, keyboard instruments and the Balafon an African marimba. At a concert Perigrine might play a a jazzy samba, some funky blues, reggae or an ambient instrumental with hints of Satie. Per writes: "Music is a world building toolkit that we use to create temporary utopias and other fantasy worlds. Instead of taking the listener somewhere musicians bring the tools of fantasy to the listener and together we share our dreams. "

My name is TB Andel and i play World Music based on Portuguese Folk Music with some influences of jazz, fado and afro music.I play with an Electric Ukulele custom made with a clean sound. Since 1984 i play professional in RL with several Portuguese artists touring all over the World... Toronto, Sydney, Boston, Vancouver, Macau, Goa-India, Maputo-Mozambique..etc etc..... and now I will tour around the virtual world of SL presenting some portuguese folk songs arranged by me and some original song too.
In SL i play Electric Ukulele with Backing Traks (Played by me) and some programming too. My music is instrumental and i already present my music on SL at Golden Horn.
My main goal in SL is to show that portuguese folk music has very nice rhythms and melodys.
